Join us for a SUPER FUN Read Across America Week or Three 😄. Every year, we celebrate Read Across America by reading our favorite books and learning about the Authors. We do some coloring and quiz, but this year, we are doing it differently. We have decided to not just read and learn about the Author, but also learn to WRITE and DRAW like our Top three. We have chosen Dr. Seuss, Mo Willems and James Dean (my son's top three favorites). We will do three weeks; One week for each Author. We will write our own mini story in the style of each Author and do illustrations like them. We will then put everything together in the form of a book with cover page and all. The first thing we will do is brainstorm what we will write about, come up with a Title. We will create our story, proof read and lay it out on our pages. We will then do our illustrations.
