~ BEST EVER Clay Recipe! Looking for a great clay recipe? Look no further. This is the one for you 😃 (sound like a sales person? I've been watching to much infomercial 😄.. But really, This recipe is great. easy to make, nice and white color. super white color. perfect for ornaments or lil sculpting crafts. I'm always experimenting to find the perfect dough and I have found it. My son enjoyed playing with the dough and making his little Christmas ornaments. Just five ingredients which you should have laying around in your pantry, and about 3-5 minutes of your time, you will have a nice ball of awesomeness to create as you wish. INGREDIENTS: 1 CUP BAKING SODA 1/2 CUP CORN STARCH 1/4 CUP FLOUR 1/2 CUP SALT 1 to 1-1/2 CUP WATER Mix baking soda, flour, salt, cornstarch together in medium size pot. Add water, mix well. Is it a part of your curriculum? Mitri can read fluently, and loves to write but his spelling is not quite there for certain words, so I added spelling to our curriculum. He is enjoying it. He repeats and writes the words each morning. And On Fridays, I give him a test. Originally, I planned on only 5 words, but since some of the words were 2 letters, I added a few extras (he loves challenges). We ended up with 12 words for the week. The extras from “spin to print” were bonus words during the test. He doesn’t just get to sit and write words. Actually, this he does without supervision. He does it during morning time when I’m doing chores. He also gets to express himself or be creative at the top of the page, either before or after writing the words (his choice).. It has also helped with keeping everything organized and in a set place, which makes the process of schooling so much easier. Here is a peak of our area.😃. Our sensory area is not quite done yet. I'm trying to decide if i should leave everything on the floor (just put a mat under) or build a table for it.
