When I decided to home school my son, we used every part of the house. From the basement to every room got abused by our activities :). It was hard keeping up with the chores of cleaning up and rearranging furniture at the end of the day. My living room was always a mess. So i decided, it's time to set one room for this. I had a vision and i have put it together (well, most of it).
It took me two months to get it all together due to order issues (I swear, every store I ordered from sent damaged items to me. It was frustrating). Nevertheless, I got it complete and i'm happy with it. Still need a few tweaking and a few pieces (science and sensory) but it's ready for use.
The Preschooler is absolutely in love with his new space. He is always in there doing some sort of craft, or at the sensory station or writing/drawing about what he learned during the day.
**Update: Room was updated a bit. Our calendar board is now hanging on the wall (arms reach for the preschooler), our sensory and science station has expanded a bit and will be getting an upgrade soon. still drafting design). pics coming soon.

*I will add link to where I got most of the items below for those of you that are interested.*

It has also helped with keeping everything organized and in a set place, which makes the process of schooling so much easier. Here is a peak of our area.😃. Our sensory area is not quite done yet. I'm trying to decide if i should leave everything on the floor (just put a mat under) or build a table for it.
