DIY paint w/hand soap and food dye | Hands on Experiment | Lifewithme3

Have you ever experimented with making your own paint? That's something that happens very often in our house 😀. We try all different kind of things........

Today's experiment was with Hand Soap and Food coloring. Turned out great though. The soap added a nice scent to the paint. Worked great and washed out very easily.



All we did was pour hand soap in our pain trays, add a few drops of food dye and mix well.




Paint had a nice glossy shine to it.


And we tested it out by painting a Fall scene. Do you see the birch trees? 😉

It has also helped with keeping everything organized and in a set place, which makes the process of schooling so much easier. Here is a peak of our area.😃. Our sensory area is not quite done yet. I'm trying to decide if i should leave everything on the floor (just put a mat under) or build a table for it.
