  • Cut it out and set it aside.
  • Think of what color background you want for your turkey (solid color, nature scene,..) and color/paint it. let dry.
  • Glue your turkey onto the dried background painting.
  • Use fake feathers from store or make your own using paper, to glue onto your turkey.
  • Use Googly eyes or buttons for the eyes of your turkey.
  • Mix liquid glue and a bit of food dye to make the wattle, beak, feet,.. OR you can use soap flakes or sand in your paint. Or simply use hot glue (*parent).
  • (optional) Frame your masterpiece and hang it on your wall or use are a table piece 🙂

* Materials: Paint, markers, crayon, pencil, scissors, glue, paper, picture of a turkey for reference, canvas(optional), fake feathers, googly eyes or buttons.

It has also helped with keeping everything organized and in a set place, which makes the process of schooling so much easier. Here is a peak of our area.😃. Our sensory area is not quite done yet. I'm trying to decide if i should leave everything on the floor (just put a mat under) or build a table for it.
