My son love the color and graphics. It's a nice story about an almond that was looked down on because of his physical appearance, which lead him to having no self confidence. He didn't think he can do anything great until he met a nut just like him. A friend. Someone that believed in him. showed him that anyone, no matter their challenge, can be great and achieve great things if they look past their flaws and put their mind to it, if they think outside the box. I've been looking for ways to get him at least one package per month to boost his excitement. So, a few months ago, we decided to join the brand repping world. It has been hard getting selected but we finally got picked up by a few shops and it has been fun so far. The kids love receiving the lil clothing or toy or book in the mail. Double excitement when it comes on his name. Here he is modeling two beautiful and comfortable shirts from one of our favorite shop  S ew Chill Designs . From the basement to every room got abused by our activities :). It was hard keeping up with the chores of cleaning up and rearranging furniture at the end of the day. My living room was always a mess. So i decided, it's time to set one room for this. I had a vision and i have put it together (well, most of it). It took me two months to get it all together due to order issues (I swear, every store I ordered from sent damaged items to me. It was frustrating). Nevertheless, I got it complete and i'm happy with it. Still need a few tweaking and a few pieces (science and sensory) but it's ready for use. About two weeks ago, we learned about the parts of a plant. Our bean sprouted so quick and so nice, we didn't want to just throw it away, so we decided to move it to a pot outside to see what will happen. This is him helping. Do It Yourself! Number Chart : 1-100 This simple number chart is fun and so easy to make. If you love creating things yourself, this will be a nice, fun and rewarding project for you. I was originally planning on taking the easy way out, and just buy him a number chart, like I previously did (he has a Numbers 1-10 Chart that I got from Amazon). But I couldn't find one of my liking, so I decided to make my own. I am happy I did. He was so happy and excited about the project, which in turn made him more interested in using the chart and learning his numbers. What I used: 22 x 28 poster board sharpie markers pencil ruler scissors stickers for decorating. (Instead of buying stickers, I printed graphics from Microsoft word and just glued them to mine). **The bubble numbers, I got online. How did you spend the last few rainy days? Mitri and I got bundled up in our boots and coats then went out and enjoyed the pouring rain. Who say we have to stay locked up inside when it's raining? Outdoors on a rainy day can be alot of fun. We enjoyed every bit of it. The boy splashed and splashed, until he couldn't splash anymore.     And after all that fun Splashing in the awesome rain and mud, We went in and did some painting. We used our Crayola washable kids paint. I joined in the fun to.  who said crayola kids paint is just for kids? :) Reminded me of my childhood days. Playing in the rain was always a blast. Do you want to add a little more excitement to painting time?.. ........Well, here is a fun recipe with an easy method for creating bright and beautiful paint colors. With just 4 ingredients and about five (5) minutes of your time, you can create this fun paint for your child(ren) to enjoy. Ingredients: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup salt 1 can condensed milk 1/2 cup corn starch **Less water for a thicker texture. **more or less cornstarch, depending on the thickness you want. Method: Place 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup salt in pot, turn stove on to low. Let salt dissolve. Add cornstarch, mixing well until smooth. Add condensed milk, mix well.
